Terms and Conditions and Refund Policy
Any change in our terms and conditions will be prospective only. We generally do not make any changes to our terms and conditions that have a retrospective effect unless legally required to do so. Your continued use of this site after that time will constitute your acceptance of any new or amended terms. Should the need arise for changes that may affect the way in which you use this site, all registered clients will be duly notified.
We operate a comprehensive UK mainland 48 hour delivery service excluding the Scottish highlands and Islands. Orders to Europe usually take between 3 – 5 days for delivery.
Occasionally, there will be areas of the UK that we serve. If when placing an order your are presented with difficulty or you think you may live outside of our main distribution areas, you can call us on 0843 523 5151 Monday to Friday 08.30 – 4.30pm, to find out if we are able to deliver to you.
Usually in this instance, we will be able to locate a local service provider to which we can deliver. Parcels can then either be picked up or delivered to your door. Any extra costs in this regard is to be borne by the customer. As you will appreciate in these circumstances, we will not be able to guarantee a 48 hour delivery but, your parcel should arrive within 5 working days. Using PO box numbers, hotels and accommodation addresses are not acceptable.
In order to give us time to ensure your products are packaged and distributed to the highest standards we request that orders are received by at least 10.00 am on any day prior to the day of delivery.
Unless specifically requested and agreed with us, delivery of goods other than on the 48 hour delivery slot given is not possible.
Goods will be delivered between 7.00 am and 6.00 pm on the relevant delivery day and you must be available to accept the goods within those times. Upon delivery you will be required to sign as proof of receipt.
If you are not able to accept the goods we our delivery service will leave a card providing the details of our attempt to deliver and advising you how you can re-arrange delivery. In the unlikely event that w are unable to leave the goods through no fault of our own a further standard delivery charge may be levied prior to re-arranging delivery.
If you are not available to sign for your delivery and have left delivery instructions to that effect when placing your order, you will be deemed to accept the full risks of receipt of those goods. In this instance, in the event of a dispute, proof of delivery will be constituted by proof that our delivery driver has acted upon those instructions.
We shall not be liable for the non-performance of any aspect of order delivery arising as a result of circumstances beyond our control.
We cannot be held responsible for the non-performance of any aspect of order delivery arising as a result of incorrect information being provided. You may be responsible for the cost of delivery and return of the goods in these circumstances.
In the unlikely event that your order should fail to arrive on the relevant delivery day please advise us of the fact by e-mail at: email@example.com within 48 hours of the day of delivery, providing us with your name, address, post code and delivery date, and we will investigate the reason and respond to you within a further period of 48 hours from receipt of your e-mail. If, as a result of our investigations, we fail to come up with an appropriate reason for non-delivery or are unable to locate a signed proof of delivery document your order will be deemed by us to be “lost”. In these circumstances you may either cancel your order and we will refund any amounts paid in full, or we will arrange for a new delivery of the goods on an alternative date.
We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss whatsoever as result of a product being “lost” or not arriving on time.
For every order placed you will receive an order confirmation, by e-mail, within 24 hours of placing that order with full details of products, prices and delivery details requested on that order. Please do not hesitate to contact us if confirmation is not received within that time frame.
We accept payment by both credit and debit cards. We accept, Visa Credit, Visa Debit, Mastercard Credit, Mastercard Debit, Visa Electron and Paypal. Paypal is a quick easy way to pay without revealing your card details on site. You must make sure that, the credit, debit or store card that is being used is yours.
When you receive confirmation of your order, this is only an indication that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the event that a mistake has been made in pricing, where we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product. In the case of a price increase, these will be published on our site and accepted prior to purchase. We will not increase the price once an order is placed and before the order is dispatched.
All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
All financial transactions are conducted in Pounds Sterling (GBP).
All of our bulk dried petfood and accessories pricing is clearly displayed against each product offered and summarised on the checkout process. Full order confirmation and an invoice will be provided to you via email.
We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer financial details with any 3rd parties
Shipping and Handling Policy
Goods will ONLY be despatched to the address given in your order. Delivery for bulk petfood orders are free from delivery charges. All shipping for other goods is calculated based on the delivery location and overall weight of the consignment.
Every product on this site is delivered by our standard service to UK mainland addresses (excluding the Scottish Highlands, UK Islands, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland and Ireland) all products to these areas will normally arrive within 2-5 working days. Subject to product availability we will ship your order on the next working day (Monday to Friday, Bank Holidays excluded).
Out of Stock Products
Products out of stock will be placed on back order, and the customer informed. Delivery costs are clearly displayed in the checkout process including free delivery where the order qualifies.
- All orders are sent via a signed for service and require the recipient to be available at the point of delivery. Where instructed, we can request our delivery service to deliver and to leave the parcel in a safe place.
- Where the recipient is not available to receive the consignment a card will be left informing the recipient of the steps needed to complete the delivery process.
- In some cases it may be that the recipient needs to collect their consignment from a local Post Office.
- Where a delivery fails the item will be returned to Daniels Tasty Petfoods by the delivery service.
- The cost to resend the order will be met by the customer
All deliveries are sent on a 48 hour service, Monday to Friday except where delivery restrictions apply, i.e Scottish Highlands, Islands and others. On occasion items ordered may be outside of the requirements to send with Royal Mail 48 hour delivery service. In these circumstances, these orders will be sent on a courier service and charged accordingly.
Shipping to Europe
- All shipping to these areas is on an case by case basis, prices will be quoted and agreed prior to order confirmation and dispatch.
- Please note that all deliveries require a signature from the customer to confirm delivery; however, if alternative arrangement or a request is made for delivery without a signature (e.g. leave at side of house), then this instruction will entirely at the customer’s own risk.
- Daniels Tasty Petfoods will not accept any liability for lost or missing goods howsoever caused.
- If you are out when we try to attempt your delivery we will leave you a card notifying you of our attempt and we will re-attempt a 2nd
- Should this re-delivery fail our courier will hold your parcel in the depot for up to 7 days whilst you arrange a final delivery.
- Should you not arrange for this to be done you will be charged for redelivery of your order.
On rare occasions if your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will be contacted with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
VAT is currently charged on your purchases at the appropriate rate unless the product is VAT exempt
Check out Process
During the checkout process you will be asked for your debit or credit card details, in order to complete the purchase transaction. This is a fully secure and encrypted process provided by our payment gateways.
We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer financial details with any 3rd parties
All orders can be cancelled at any time up until 4.00pm prior to the day of dispatch. To do this simply email or phone, quoting your name and order reference number, we’ll refund any monies paid in advance as soon as possible.
We will accept returns of unopened dried petfoods up to 7 days after delivery. If you cancel your order you must return the goods to us at your own expense and in the original packaging. You must ensure goods are packaged securely to protect against damage as they must arrive back to us in a saleable condition.
We are unable to accept cancellations for opened bulk dried petfood as you will appreciate these cannot be resold.
Our products are freshly despatched to you at all times. Our petfoods is usually only made up days before delivery to ensure that our products arrive to you at their peak. We are continually looking for new ways to improve our services to you. We would appreciate feedback as to why you feel the need to cancel your order, although you are under no obligation to do so.
If you fail to return the goods, we can arrange to collect them, and will charge you the direct cost of collection. If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the reduction in value.
This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights, for example if goods are faulty or mis-described.
Daniels Tasty Petfoods Ltd either owns the intellectual property rights in the underlying HTML, text, images, audio clips, video clips, software and other content (collectively, the “Content”) that is made available to you on this website, or has obtained the permission of the owner of the intellectual property for such Content to use the Content on this website. Except as provided in these Terms, Daniels Tasty Petfoods prohibits the redistribution or copying of any Content on this website without its express written permission us. Daniels Tasty Petfoods hereby authorises you to display on your computer, download and print pages of this website, subject to the following provisions:

Description of Products
Each Product purchased is sold subject to its Product Description which sets out any additional Specific Conditions related to that Product.
We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the website.
Contract creation and electronic contracting
The technical steps required to create the contract between you and us are as follows:
- You place the order for your products on the website by pressing the confirm order button at the end of the checkout process.
- We will send to you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered. This is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from us.
- Trade Accounts – minimum order is £75.00 excluding vat. Delivery will be charge £4.99 including vat.
Orders are accepted and a creation of the contract between you and us will take place once your order has been despatched to you.
We may, but are not obliged to, notify you of non-acceptance of any order placed by you. We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or, refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any Product from this Website whether or not that Product has been sold; removing or editing any materials or content on the Website; refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.
- The contract will be concluded in English.Competitions
One person per email address to enter the competition.
Winners will be selected at random by the date stated on competition. (within 3 business working days of prize draw closing).
Winners will be notified by email. You will not be entered into any further correspondence regarding that prize draw.
Daniels Tasty Petfoods reserves the right to extend competition entry deadlines without notice. This is at our sole discretion.
We may publish the name of winners. Winners will be deemed to give Daniels Tasty Petfoods irrevocable license to use their name in future promotions.
Entrants agree that by entering a competition their personal details may be stored and otherwise processed by Daniels Tasty Petfoods for the purposes of administering the competition and for marketing and sending offers and other information. This is open to UK Customers only.

Zero Tolerance Policy
Use of profanity, verbal threats and abusive language will not be tolerated at all, any such behaviour, will result in your order being cancelled. This applies to telephone, email and face-to-face communications.
